About

I am Perri Kennedy, a graduate student and graduate assistant in the department of Instructional & Performance Technology at Boise State University. Although this is a practitioner-oriented program, I have kept my focus on the research side by choosing electives in qualitative and quantitative data analysis and by opting for a research-based thesis as my culminating activity. Having completed my coursework in the fall semester of 2011 and successfully defended my thesis in April 2012, I am scheduled to graduate with a Master of Science degree in August 2012.

At the moment I am somewhat torn between pursuing two different disciplines: evaluation and organizational behavior. For the time being I intend to focus on evaluation as a career path, and am seeking a position in internal (organizational)  or external (program) evaluation. This blog includes samples of my writing and analytical skills. Eventually I will post two project reports written for a client audience; both were collaborative efforts with fellow students. The current samples on this site are all solo work written for a practitioner or academic audience.

When I escape from the computer and academic journals, my life centers around cats, cars, coffee, vintage Hamilton watches, and logic puzzles.
